God’s festivals teach His plan of Salvation for Israel and ALL of mankind. No wonder Paul said they were a reflection or shadow of our Lord’s Body – for He gave His body to be our Passover sacrifice as the Lamb of God (Rev 5:6)! After the Sabbath, the next of God’s Feasts is Passover (Ex.12:5-14, Lev.23:5). Christ and His apostles kept Passover (Matt.26:17-19, 1 Cor.5:7). Indeed, Christ is the Passover Lamb from God that redeems our souls by His blood (John 1:29,
Rev.5:6). Part of that first Passover included being loosed from religious and physical bondage in Egypt and given freedom within God’s law of love. This is the most basic of truths! God’s plan of redemption is clearly portrayed through each and every one of God’s commanded Holy Feast Days. Each one is like a gold coin to buy our freedom from dark obscurity into His lighted path.
